This bed boasts a unique, self-contained motor, reducing weight and noise, which can be installed or removed even with a patient present. A 9-volt battery in the hand control provides up to nine head and foot section lowering operations during power outages, eliminating the need for a crank. The included new hand pendant features large, user-friendly controls.
